Essentially Professional Services has been created to provide accountancy services to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Formed by Shayne Savill and Allan Reeves in August 2005 following the success of their previous company within niche media industries. Following changes to the audit regulations, a significant number of media companies now fall well below the threshold that requires an audit and are therefore looking for more cost-effective solutions, with a high level of quality delivery.

The balance between the practice and its clients is critical since it remains the responsibility of the client to complete and submit all documentation. Our strategy is to provide a part-time financial controller/management accountant service with full bookkeeping support from data entry to credit control and management accounts preparation. This represents a coming-together of the traditional accountancy firm with the in-house accounts function.

To provide a quality level of service for clients who require a valid alternative to the traditional accountancy model Essentially Professional Services has focused its recruitment on qualified accountants, be it ACA, CIMA, AAT, or ACCA in order to demonstrate technical excellence.
